Site Information

California results from the National Woodland Owner Survey indicate that 99 per cent of the family-owned forests are in parcels of 500 acres or less. These small ownerships make up 58 per cent of the area of family-owned forestland. Less than 1 per cent of the surveyed landowners had written management plans.

This website created in partnership with Cal Fire and the Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) at the University of California. The purpose of the site is to provide Californian private forest landowners with reliable forest management information and resources.
